What to wear

While there are no specific dress requirements, practical neat casual dress is recommended. Try to wear something which allows you to move about, practice with the equipment, and sit comfortably during the training.

Also, closed-toed shoes must be worn at all times.

Cancellation policy

If you need to cancel your course prior to the date, you can do so for only a $22 cancellation fee – provided you notify us at least 48 hours before your course. After that, you may still contact us to cancel before your course begins, but you will only be eligible for a refund of 50% of the cost.

Alternatively, you may simply reschedule your course for a $10 fee (up to a maximum of three times).

Please be aware that once the course has commenced, you are no longer eligible for a refund even if you do not attend – you must notify us ahead of time.

Same day certificate

Once you have successfully completed your course, your accredited barista training certificate (including the nationally accredited SITHFAB025 & SITXFSA005 certificates) will be available as a digital file within 24 hours – normally on the same day.

Assessment methods

There will be a brief online assessment to be completed at home, but for the most part your assessment will be hands-on in class. Your assessor will watch as you demonstrate your new skills in the classroom, after plenty of practice and with a lot of support.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)
