Our coffee-making course is ideal for anyone looking to gain essential skills in the art of crafting delicious coffee beverages. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or seeking to launch a career in the coffee industry, our comprehensive and affordable training program provides the perfect opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and develop practical skills that are highly valued in the market.
Although our barista training has no formal dress code, it’s a good idea to go for practical, neat-casual clothes. Choose something comfortable that you can still move in, to allow you both to sit comfortably during instruction times and move about when practising with the equipment.
The one requirement we do ask is for all students to wear closed-toed shoes throughout the training, for safety.
Group Bookings
Contact us to arrange a group booking for barista training, and pay less per person for your training.
Cancellation policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your training, the following fees will apply:
Rescheduling your course – $10 rescheduling fee (up to 3 times maximum)
Cancelling 48 hours or more before the course – $22 Cancellation fee (deducted from your refund)
Cancelling within 48 hours of your course – 50% of the course cost (deducted from your refund)
Cancelling after the course begins – No refund is available
Special consideration may be given in some circumstances, if supporting evidence can be provided (like a doctor’s certificate)
Same day certificate
The barista training certificates you will earn for successfully completing your course (including the SITHFAB025 & SITXFSA005 certificates) will be available digitally within 24 hours – and generally by the end of the day.
Courses available everyday
No matter what your schedule is like, we’ll have course times available to suit your calendar – with sessions running at various times throughout the week, and many on weekends (for those unavailable during standard working hours).

Assessment methods
There will be a brief online assessment to be completed at home, but for the most part your assessment will be hands-on in class. Your assessor will watch as you demonstrate your new skills in the classroom, after plenty of practice and with a lot of support.
Unique Student Identifier (USI)
To enrol in the course, you will need a valid unique student identifier (USI). This is a number given to you by the government to help keep track of all your training and education. To find out more about the USI, or to apply online, click here.
